Incheon, South Korea – Three popular mobile games—Lords Mobile, Viking Rise, and Doomsday: Last Survivors—have officially been confirmed as part of the 2025 IGG World Championship, held from August 29–31, 2025, in Incheon, South Korea. This global event brings together the world’s top players in high-level strategic battles with a brand-new competitive format.

The prestigious tournament features a prize pool of over $400,000, including cash rewards, in-game items, and exclusive merchandise. IGG positions this event as a celebration of the global community of SLG (Simulation & Strategy Game) enthusiasts.

Lords Mobile – Invitation Match

As IGG’s flagship real-time strategy game, Lords Mobile will introduce a new format called Invitation Match. A total of 12 teams from 16 countries will compete alongside 18 players from the host nation, South Korea, in a 15-minute solo mode. Participants must dominate key buildings, with the winner decided by who can survive the longest.

Viking Rise – Sacred Crucible

The Viking-themed civilization game Viking Rise makes its offline tournament debut with the Sacred Crucible mode. Eight elite teams from various countries will battle in a battle-royale format combining both PvE and PvP elements. Players are required to defeat monsters, outlast rivals, and collect essential items to secure victory.

Doomsday: Last Survivors – Off Limits War

Competition continues with Doomsday: Last Survivors, a strategic survival game introducing the Off Limits War mode. Thirty-two of the world’s top players will be divided into four squads—Phoenix, Shadow, Ash, and Radiance—and compete for 35 minutes to seize the Device while accumulating Energy Points.

Beyond the Battles

In addition to the main tournament, IGG is also presenting a Fan Zone, interactive mini-games, and cosplay showcases of iconic characters to enhance the festivities. A unique touch comes from interactive zombies inspired by Doomsday: Last Survivors, making the spectator experience even more immersive.
