Jakarta, October 12, 2024 - Nuon Digital Indonesia ("Nuon") participated in the Indonesia Game Developer Exchange (IGDX) 2024 to support the development of the local game ecosystem. This event will take place on October 10 to 12, 2024 at The Stones Hotel, Bali, and will be attended by game fans, game associations and industry players from within and outside the country.

Nuon was present at the developer conference session on the topic of Building a Sustainable Game Ecosystem with Nuon CEO Aris Sudewo, Telkom Indonesia CDIO Fajrin Rasyid, and Digital Happiness CEO Rachmad Imron. 

Aris Sudewo, CEO of Nuon, conveyed the importance of collaboration in developing the games industry. “We view IGDX as a strategic opportunity to establish new collaborations that can strengthen the local gaming ecosystem. We hope to collaborate with game developers, creators and other industry players to continue to innovate and present quality products and services that are able to compete globally," said Aris.

Nuon hosted the Nuon GameDEV Pitch Battle Arena as part of IGDX, a competition for local game developers to compete with their ideas and showcase their work. 

After going through a strict selection, three teams were selected who came out as champions from various categories, namely the Kickoff Land game by CliffBite Game as the Jury's Choice winner, the Verde and the Echoing Water game by Antimeta Studio as the Best Pitch winner, and the Garden of Wandering Souls game by Arsanesia as winner of Best Project. 

This award was carried out at the peak event of IGDX Awarding night on Saturday (12/10). The winners will get mentoring opportunities with Indigo Game Startup Incubation, as well as opportunities to collaborate with Nuon Games.

IGDX is an annual accelerator program organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI), which aims to increase the capabilities of game developers in Indonesia. Various interesting activities such as developer conferences, business matchmaking, as well as showcase booths featuring games made by local and international developers were present at this event.
