One of the difficulties in dealing with new heroes in Mobile Legends is how to counter them. Yu Zhong is the newly released Fighter hero that just got brought into the game recently, and this hero is quite easy to overcome. But for those of you who still have trouble when dealing with Yu Zhong, let’s see how to counter this hero here!

On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you five tips and tricks on how to counter Yu Zhong on the battlefield. So, what are those tips and tricks you have to do against him? Well, without further ado, let’s just get straight into it!

1. Use Anti-Regen Items

Yu Zhong is a hero with a high spell vamp attribute, and he relies heavily on that to survive in team fights. To deal with such heroes with high spell vamp or HP regen, you may want to use anti-regen items, such as the Sea Halberd if you’re using a physical hero, and the Necklace of Durance, an anti-regen item for mage heroes.

These two items can reduce Yu Zhong’s regeneration effect by up to 50 percent. With these items, the HP regenerated by his passive skill will be less significant, as they may keep it on minimum.

Another alternative if you’re not really into the idea of getting one of those items is to use the Tank hero, Baxia, who possesses a passive skill with the same functionalities as those two items. 

2. Subdue Him with Crowd Control Heroes

One of Yu Zhong’s glaring weaknesses is that he’s quite prone to crowd control effects. Therefore, if you want to hinder or even stop his movements altogether, you can use crowd control specialist heroes, such as Nana, Franco, and other hard CC heroes.

However, you still have to pay attention to certain aspects and don’t bother to spam and waste your crowd control skills on Yu Zhong when he’s transformed into a dragon since he’s immune to any crowd control in this form. You should use your crowd control skills on him before or after he uses his ultimate.

3. Use Burst Damage Heroes

Aside from being prone to crowd control effects, Yu Zhong is also quite vulnerable against heroes with huge burst damage since he has a rather low defense stats, and can easily be killed pretty quickly when he receives constant burst damage.

Any hero capable of inflicting burst damage like Granger will work effectively in dealing with Yu Zhong, cause they can kill Yu Zhong instantly when equipped with certain items.

4. Use Agile Heroes

If you feel like burst damage heroes don’t seem to do the work in overcoming Yu Zhong, then you may want to use agile heroes like Hayabusa or Claude to dodge Yu Zhong’s fatal blows with ease.

This will give Yu Zhong a hard time since he won’t be able to gain the Sha Essence, thus he’ll have some trouble in restoring his HP.
