Nowadays, there's no need to bother pirating or looking for illegal downloads to be able to watch your favorite popular anime series. Various streaming services have released many anime titles that are legally distributed - some even air on YouTube. Previously, Dunia Games has listed four official YouTube channels that allow you to watch anime for free. It turns out that apart from those four, there are still other channels that you may not know yet. Let's take a look at the new list below.
1. LINE Webtoon Indonesia
The official YouTube channel that belongs to the LINE Webtoon comic application for the Indonesian region. Some of the webtoons they publish on the app - including The God of High School - have already been adapted into animated series, and they have also uploaded them on the YouTube channel. As its name implies, LINE Webtoon Indonesia has provided Indonesian subtitles as well. When this article was written, there are four anime series that you can watch on the YouTube Line Webtoon Indonesia channel, not counting other programs such as dramas and other videos:
- The God of High School
- Noblesse
- Lazy Cooking
- Tales of the Unusual
2. Anime Bancho
Although most of the anime that airs on Anime Bancho are small-budgeted original titles, there are several titles that have become popular among anime lovers as well. One of them is Inferno Cop, an action-comedy short anime series by Studio Trigger, creator of Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia. It tells the adventure of a skeleton policeman with a flaming skull (just like Ghost Rider). At one point, Inferno Cop went viral because the animation was deliberately made to look ugly and stiff and had an absolutely ridiculous storyline. When this article was written, on the Anime Bancho channel there are a number of anime playlists that you can watch:
- Inferno Cop
- Oshiete Hokusai!
- Passionate Detective Agency
- KY Kei JC Kuuki-chan
- Hana-no-Zundamaru
- Peeping Life
- World Fool New
3. Atashin’Chi
Yes, you can watch the classic anime adaptation of the comedy-slice-of-life manga by mangaka Eiko Kera that tells the daily life of the Tachibana Family for free! When I write this article, 312 episodes have been uploaded and you can enjoy them without paying a dime on the official YouTube channel, Atashin'chi Official Channel. Unfortunately, the official Atashin'Chi channel only provides original Japanese voiceover and English and Korean subtitles. There is no Indonesian version at all.
4. Anime! on TMS Official Channel
Somewhat different from most other official anime YouTube channels, Anime! on TMS Official Channel does not provide anime with original Japanese voiceovers. However, they uploaded a number of anime with English voiceovers. Therefore, there may be a slight issue with broadcasting rights so not all videos on the channel can be watched outside of the United States. At the time of writing, Anime! on TMS Official Channel provides the following anime series:
- Monster Rancher (Season 1-3)
- Sonic X (Season 1-3)
Need America's VPN:
- Cardfight Vanguard
- Itazura na Kiss
- BAKI
- MEGALOBOX
- Dr. Stone
That's the list of four official YouTube channels where you can watch anime for free. I think there are still official YouTube channels that provide free anime services, but let's save them for the next discussion.
