The Revolutionary Army Commanders consist of a bunch of interesting characters. One of them is Morley, who was first introduced in One Piece Episode 880. Morley is the Commander of the West Army. Who is Morley actually, and what’s his ability? Check out these 4 facts on Morley!

1. An Okama

It’s not just Emporio Ivankov and Inazuma who are okama(s) (drag queen) in the Revolutionary Army, but also Morley. Just from his appearances, wearing a mini skirt, you can already guess that he’s an okama. When he makes his first appearance, he looked embarrassed when his opponent staring at him. Currently, he is the Commander of the West Army in the Revolutionary Army.

His feminine speech shows that he is an okama. Morley also dislikes people who are violent. He thinks that everyone who stares at him for a long time has a crush on him.

2. Originated from the Giant Tribe

Besides being an okama, Morley is also a giant like Hajrudin. As a giant, Morley has a much stronger physique and longer lifespan compared to a regular human. The okama, who becomes the Commander of the West Army in the Revolutionary Army, is using a large harpoon-trident hybrid to move the ground by using the power of his Devil Fruit.

Morley also becomes the second giant known to be the Devil Fruit eater after Sanjuan Wolf who has joined the Kurohige Pirates. Doflamingo even recognized Morley’s ability as one of the Revolutionary Army’s commanders.

3. His Devil Fruit Power

Morley ate Oshi Oshi no Mi, the Paramecia-type of Devil Fruit that allows him to push any object, including the ground. This is why when he was fighting against Kurohige’s subordinates, Morley pushed the ground to attack and knocked them down.

He can also maintain the original weight and shape of the object being pushed. It was still unknown what other abilities he had, one thing for sure is Morley could hide underground even though his body was very big.

4. Imprisoned at the Impel Down

Around 100 years ago, Morley became the pirate imprisoned at the Impel Down. Somehow, he managed to escape the Impel Down without being detected by the guards. This made the Impel Down able to keep its status as being unbreakable prison until Shiki’s escape a few years later.

And the tunnels that Morley carved using his Devil Fruit is known as the Level 5.5, Newkama Land which was occupied by Ivankov and Inazuma at that time.
