1. Onimaru

Onimaru is a fox who is assigned to guard the soldiers’ graves of the Shimotsuki clan. Each grave of the soldiers has a katana embedded in the grave which they used when they were alive. After its master's death, it decided to help Kawamatsu gather usable swords to be used for the fight against Kaido.

After Kawamatsu was captured, Onimaru transformed into a human form and renamed itself Gyukimaru. It decided to keep all the weapons in the grave until Kawamatsu returns. Although it’s not certain, it seems Onimaru can also change form to other humans such as Kozuki Oden. This aims to raise the spirit of Akazaya Nine and at the same time, shock Kaido.
