After The Last of Us Part II, now PlayStation 4 users will welcome another exclusive game, Ghost of Tsushima. The game developed by Sucker Punch was first announced at Paris Game Week (PGW) 2017. The game immediately stole the attention of gamers because of the promising graphic and gameplay. Three years after the announcement, Ghost of Tsushima is set to roll out in mid-July 2020.

Fyi, Ghost of Tsushima is set during the feudal Japan era and offers war gameplay with an open-world concept. The story begins when the Mongolian empire invaded Tsushima island in 1274 and executed all samurai on the island.

In Ghost of Tsushima, you will play as Jin Sakai. He is one of the remaining samurai that have to protect, defend, and stop the war. Besides Jin Sakai, there’s also Shimura, Jin’s uncle and the Lord of Tsushima.

1. Experience Living as a Samurai

In this game, you will control Jin Sakai, a samurai that tries to return the peace on Tsushima island. For a realistic gaming experience, Sucker Punch designed the UI to be minimalistic. This allows you to play like you are watching a film without being interrupted by the interface. The game also has a lot of missions where it’s packed with cinematic scenes and will make you feel like you are watching a film.

2. Impressive Samurai Battles

If you are wondering about the battle gameplay in Ghost of Tsushima, the game offers several battle methods that you can use. Yes, the player gets to choose to battle in varying methods in a realistic fashion. You can choose between an honorable method or a dishonorable method.

For the honorable method, the player will challenge the enemy to a duel to prove whos is the best fighter. While in the dishonorable method, the game can disarm the enemy by sneaking and use tricks to distract the opponent and eliminate them while they are not looking.

3. Vast Character Customization

You can customize Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima with the available in-game costumes. You can choose how Jin will look when he enters a battle or roam the island. Not only for cosmetic purposes, but every costume also has its use. So you can use a costume depending on the situation.

4. Unique Photography Feature

Ghost of Tsushima also has a photography feature that allows the player to take a screenshot. The player then can edit multiple aspects of the screenshot such as facial expression, color, weather, particle effect, depth of field, and many more.

5. Interact with Environment and Animal

In Ghost of Tsushima, the player will not only interact with humans, but also with animals and the environment.  You will meet a lot of animals and can interact with them. You may see a fox that will guide Jin to a mysterious location to hone his skill. Jin can also interact with the fox by petting it.
