There are plenty of devil fruits that suitable for Sanji, Suke Suke no Mi for example. Even so, some devil fruits are unsuitable for him, and if he eats it, it will bring a major disadvantage. What are those devil fruits that Sanji should avoid? Find out here!

1. Mero Mero no Mi

Mero Mero no Mi is a devil fruit eaten by one of the strongest female pirates, Boa Hancock. This ability can turn anybody who enchanted to her into stone. This ability is unsuitable to Sanji because he will dislike it. Even though he is always interested in women, but Sanji is less popular among them.

Even his marriage with Pudding was forced. If Sanji finds a woman he loves and the woman also loves him back, then it’ll be bad if he has Mero Merino Mi, because Sanji will turn the woman into stone. Luffy is immune to Hancock’s ability because he doesn’t have an interest in her.

2. Beta Beta no Mi

This is a devil fruit eaten by Trebol. Beta Beta no Mi will give the users an ability to control mucus at will, and Sanji will hate this nasty power. As a chef, Sanji will always keep his hands clean.

Now imagine, Sanji who cannot control this power will keep dropping mucus when cooking. That’ll ruin the food he creates.

3. Guru Guru no Mi

One of the family members of the Donquixote, Buffalo, is the owner of this devil fruit. The fruit gives him the ability to become a propeller, allows him to fly like a helicopter.

This is very unuseful to Sanji because he already masters Skywalk. The ability makes him able to hover in the air by giving a mid-air push and can be used in battle. If using Guru Guru no Mi, Sanji will be having a hard time during fights because his body will turn into a propeller.

4. Kanjuro’s Devil Fruit

Until now, it is yet to be explained what kind of devil fruit eaten by Kanjuro. The devil fruit allows Kanjuro and the ability to produce ink from his hair to draw something, and the drawing will later come to life. This ability is very unsuitable for Sanji.

First, Sanji is not an artist, and sure his drawing is very bad and worst than Kanjuro’s. Two, this ability only slows him down, because he’s a fast character. Depending on artistic skill will slow him down in battle.

5. Mato Mato no Mi

Mato Mato no Mi gives an ability to mark someone as a target. If the user throws something, the thing that is thrown will hit the marked target. This ability is used by Vander Decken IX. 

Sanji will decline to use his hands in battle because he treasures his hands to cook. This is why he denies using this kind of ability. Sanji also a close-ranged fighter who denies fighting using projectiles.
