Charlotte Oven becomes one of the main antagonists in the Whole Cake Island Arc in One Piece. He is a very tough opponent and he makes it difficult for the Straw Hat to escape from the island. Here are five facts about Charlotte Oven that you need to know in One Piece!

1. Netsu Netsu no Mi User

With the Paramecia-type devil fruit, Netsu Netsu no Mi, Oven is able to heat up his own body, making him a high heat human. He is able to burn anyone that makes physical contact with him. Not only that, Oven is also able to transfer the heat from his body to any object he touches.

For example when Oven fights Pedro, Pedro’s sword became superheated after touching Oven’s hand. This Big Mom’s fourth son is even capable of transferring his heat into the ocean, causing the seawater to boil and kill all living creatures in it.

2. Born Along with Katakuri and Daifuku

Based on an explanation in one of columns in SBS One Piece volume 87, Big Mom gave birth to Oven along with Katakuri and Daifuku. Oven becomes the youngest of them. They also become Big Mom’s strongest children besides Perospero,Cracker, and Smoothie.

3. His Body Was Pierced by Ichiji

In One Piece episode 873, Germa 66 came to aid Sanji and Luffy who tried to escape from the Cacao Island, where Ichiji confronted Oven. Interesting thing that happened is Oven’s body was pierced by an attack from Ichiji, however shortly afterwards he recovered as if he had not received any injury. Could this be the effect from his devil fruit that have a regenerating effect?

4. Abilities Similar to Luffy

Because Oven is a bakeman, his body has a light pink tint. This is similar to Luffy who was using Gear Second. One of Luffy’s main techniques which also happens to produce heat. Does the heat from Oven exceed the heat of Luffy's Gear Second?

5. Similar to Kaido

There is fan who speculate that Kaido is one of Big Mom’s ex-husbands. The first reason is because Big Mom seemed to have an important relationship with Kaido in the past where they were talking on the phone.

The second is Oven’s face which is quite similar to Kaido’s. Does this mean that Oven, Katakuri, and Daifuku are Big Mom’s children from Kaido? This is because the three of them also possesses very strong fighting abilities.
