Issho, or also known as Fujitora, is one of the strongest Marines. His position as an Admiral shows how strong he is in a fight. Even though he’s blind, Fujitora has fearsome abilities. Here are some facts about Fujitora that you don’t know about!
1. Strength Differences With Other Admirals
There is a thing that differs Fujitora with the rest of the Admirals, which the devil fruit type he ate. Kizaru ate Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type fruit, same goes with Akainu who ate Magu Magu no Mi, as well as Aokiji who ate Hie Hie no Mi, which the two are Logia-type fruits.
Fujitora is the only Admiral who ate a Paramecia-type fruit. According to Vivre Card Databook, Fujitora’s devil fruit name is Zushi Zushi no Mi. It’s not known yet what kind of the devil fruit type eaten by Admiral Ryokugyu. Is it Zoan, Paramecia, or Logia? There is a theory that Ryokugyu is a Mythical Zoan user.
2. Immune to Boa Hancock’s Attack
Boa Hancock is one of the Shichibukai who can attract every man in the world due to her beauty. In the anime or the manga, it is unknown whether Fujitora immune to Hancock’s beauty or not since the two never met each other, but it’s different n the video game.
In One Piece Pirate Warrior 3, Fujitora becomes one of the many people who’s immune to Hancock’s beauty. Logically, Fujitora won’t get affected by Hancock’s Mero Mero no Mi because he’s blind.
3. The True Justice Code
Fujitora holds the virtuous justice code. That makes him seeing things from two different perspectives, even though in truth, he’s blind. Similar to Aokiji, Fujitora is a man who opposes the “absolute justice” from the Marines that currently lead by Akainu.
Fujitora is on the “true justice” side which doesn’t require sacrifice people to act as Akainu does. The man who is appointed as an Admiral after the time skip has to clear his duty without sacrificing any lives as much as possible.
Many One Piece fans love Fujitora’s nature. He becomes one of the true justice enforcers among plenty of Marines higher-ups. At Dressrosa, he freed Luffy and curious about his development in the future.
4. The Reason Why Oda Came Up With Fujitora
In an SBS column, a fan asked Oda why he named Issho the purple tiger with Fujitora, not Murasaki-tora or Shi-tora in which the two have the same meaning, purple. It turns out the reason why Oda named him Fujitora is because it sounds cooler.
5. Fujitora’s Favorite Food
Fujitora’s favorite food is soba and udon, and this is seen when he’s on Mary Geoise along with Admiral Ryokugyu.
