Kyojuro Rengoku is the Flame Hashira and the main character in Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train. With his power, Kyojuro protects hundreds of passengers on the train from being attacked by demons.

There are several fascinating facts about Kyojuro, especially if you’re a fan of this character. So, what facts are we talking about? Without further ado, let’s get into it!

1. Mitsuri Kanroji’s Mentor

The first fact about Kyojuro Rengoku that we’re going to discuss this time is that he was Mitsuri Kanroji’s mentor. Kanroji developed her breathing style, Love Breathing, which is derived from Flame Breathing.

As a matter of fact, Mitsuri first learned Flame Breathing from Kyojuro. However, even after she learned it, Mitsuri wasn’t really adept at using it -- which is why Mitsuri developed it into Love Breathing.

2. His Father was a Former Flame Hashira

Rengoku came from generations of Demon Slayer members, dating back to Yoriichi Tsugikuni-era. Rengoku’s father, Shinjuro, served as the Flame Hashira before being replaced by Kyojuro.

As a former Flame Hashira, Shinjuro was incredibly powerful. He could even fight with bare hands, meaning that Shinjuro’s physical prowess was above average as a highly experienced Demon Slayer.

3. Superhuman Stamina and Endurance

Kyojuro is a character with immense endurance and stamina. Kyojuro once got his eardrums ruptured, yet he didn’t even flinch, ignoring the pain to keep fighting.

In Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train, when Kyojuro fought Enmu, who has fused with the train, he was able to hold him off in 5 train carts without getting tired. After the fight, Kyojuro still managed to keep up with an Upper-Rank Three, Akaza, who immediately showed up.

This indicates that Kyojuro has incredible stamina as he can deal with powerful Demons without actually getting tired.
