Ndemic Creations as the developer of Plague Inc admitted that this game is inspired by Pandemic 2. Pandemic 2 is a browser game using Adobe Flash Player to play. Similar to Plague Inc, Pandemic 2 will also force you to spread the virus around the globe, until all people got infected. Pandemic 2 itself is a game created by Dark Realm Studios in 2008. 

3. One of the Best Strategy Game in 2012

Back in 2012, Plague Inc was chosen as the best Strategy game with a total of 85 million downloads and positive reviews. Even though it’s only stayed as a runner up, under XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Plague Inc still one of the best games that gained people’s attention at that time. Even after receiving this award, Plague Inc still getting updates.

2. Difference Between Versions

Even though developed by the same studio, Plague Inc mobile version has some differences with the PC version. Even though it’s not major, but these differences make people download on their smartphones rather than PC. The differences are Multiplayer Mode and the Scenario Creator.
