Secre is the assistant of the first Magic Emperor who mastered the Sealing Magic. Although she considered that her own magic is useless, however Lumiere thought that her magic was very useful to help him with his research. There are some interesting facts about Secre. 1. Before Named Nero

Before the Black Bull decided to name Secre in her anti-bird form by the name Nero, Asta and Noelle had originally wanted to call her by the names they thought of. Asta wished to name her Toritaoru while Noelle wished to name her Sylvants Schnauzer. The name chosen by Noelle sounds too cool for an anti-bird.

2. Her Other Abilities

Secre has the sealing magic that able to open and close objects and other spells. She is also capable of sealing people into objects. After her ability develops, Secre is also able to seal herself into the form of an anti-bird or Nero at will.

Besides that, Secre also possesses the ability to sense mana. She is able to sense the mana within living creatures and inanimate objects. Additionally, her abilities allow her to find magic items from a long distance through walls. She also could use it to determine the quickest path towards the mana that she is sensing.

3. The Hero for the Mankind

Lumiere deserves to be called a hero because he has defeated the monster (Licht) who wrecked the kingdom in the past. But the real enemy is the Devil. Without Secre's help at that time, Lumiere would die so that nothing could stop the Devil's threat in the future.

However, Secre managed to revive Lumiere and also bring Asta so they could defeat the Devil. This is why she deserves to be called hero.

4. The Black Bull’s Oldest Member

Although she looks like a teenage girl, Secre is actually very old. For 500 years, she is in her anti-bird form, Nero while looking for the people with high potential to defeat the Devil. After she officially joined the Black Bull, she becomes the oldest member of the worst squad in the Clover Kingdom.

5. The Strange Thing About Her Transformation

If you notice, the thing that doesn’t make sense is when Nero transformed into Secre. Can you guess it? Yes, her clothes. How is it possible for a bird that wearing nothing can change into a human form who wears clothes? This remains unsolved in Black Clover.
