There are a lot of anime characters with awesome hairstyles who also boast a great fighting prowess. But how about the hairless ones, the baldies? Does that mean many of them are just puny characters? Nope, these are five tough baldheaded anime characters!

1. Okisuke (Naruto Shippuden)

Okisuke is a samurai from the Land of Iron. He’s also the right-hand-man of Mifune, the general of the Land of Iron. Okisuke is highly-skilled and always completes every mission given to him. By mastering Kenjutsu, Okisuke was able to wipe out the White Zetsu Army just by one slash.

2. Jura Neekis (Fairy Tail)

Jura is one of the Ten Wizard Saints in Fairy Tail. He’s known for his earth magic and got the moniker 'Iron Rock Jura'. Despite having an enormous magic power, Jura is humble with kind and collected demeanor. It’s implied as he refers everyone with the suffix '-dono' which means 'sir' or ‘madam’, whether it’s his partner or enemy.

Not only that, but Jura also has a pretty funny demeanor. Whenever someone points out that he doesn’t have hair, Jura will show his annoyance with a funny expression.

3. Hanzo (Hunter x Hunter)

Hanzo is an adept ninja in Hunter x Hunter. Gon and his friends encountered him during the Hunter exam. Hanzo’s mastery of combat skills is the result of his rigorous training since his early childhood. Even in his teens, Hanzo already tasked with an assassination mission. For 18 years straight, not once did he skip training.

In the final round of the Hunter exam, Hanzo went up against Gon. Due to the deep disparity between their strengths, the bald ninja went as far as breaking Gon’s arm, even that Gon eventually won, since Hanzo surrendered. Eventually, Hanzo came out as one of the participants who got the Hunter license.

4. Ikkaku Madarame (Bleach)

Ikkaku was the 3rd lieutenant of the 11th division, of the Gotei 13, under Captain Kenpachi Zaraki. Aside from his bald head, Ikkaku is very enthusiastic in fights. It’s implied when Ikkaku limits his power by not using Shikai or Bankai in a fight, just to get a longer fight.

His bald head is also often the subject of jokes for other Shinigami. Ikkaku’s baldness might be one of the funniest jokes in Bleach.

5. Saitama (One Punch Man)

It’s impossible to think that there’s another bald anime character who can surpass Saitama’s power. Aside from being known as the most powerful character, not just in One Punch Man but also across any other anime, Saitama is known for his signature clean bald head. 

Saitama used to have quite thick hair, but after the underwent incredibly rigorous training, he lost all his hair.
