In anime, it is often seen that there are two types of characters: those who have powers given to them and those who have to work hard to get those powers. Whether they were born with that power or they just became strong due to circumstances, naturally the main goal was to become strong.
Those who weren't so lucky, struggled and had to put in double, triple, or even quadruple the effort just to get that power. Despite the uphill battles these characters face, it's more fun and satisfying to watch them reach extraordinary levels of power.
So, who are they? Here is the full review!
1. Baki Hanma – Baki
With a father who was known as the Strongest Being On Earth, it took the toughest and most rigorous physical training to go through to match him. Baki Hanma from the Baki series aims to become stronger than his father.
Baki has trained day and night in many different martial arts styles to defeat his father. Baki trained himself from a very early age! Finally, what he wanted began to show progress when Baki succeeded in defeating many top class fighters.
2. Deku – My Hero Academia
Izuku Midoriya (aka Deku) from My Hero Academia is one of the many U.A. students. With the potential to become one of the greatest heroes, but he didn't get things started instantly. Even though All Might transferred his Quirk to Deku, he still had a lot of work to do before he was ready to use it. He trained his body to be able to handle the power of One For All. For Deku, there is no shortcut to becoming a hero.
3. Erza – Fairy Tail

His efforts paid off, as his taijutsu skills put him at a level of power few ninjas could dream of. Even Madara acknowledged him as the strongest taijutsu master.
