1. Fumikage Tokoyami – My Hero Academia

Fumikage Tokoyami is a very unique character who can use the power of darkness almost flawlessly and use his intimidating ability to be a good character and combat evils.

Even funnier, Fumikage is a darkness geek who constantly talks about darkness, has a bird-shape shadow lurking around him to assist him in battles and enhances his darkness strength in a pinch.

2. Rin Okumura – Blue Exorcist

Because Rin Okumura is the son of Satan, a lot of people quickly assume he’s going to be as evil as his father, but it turns out to be the other way around as he grew up with a demon slayer instead of his father and became a young man with a strong resolve to protect the life of humans.

Unfortunately, due to his origin, people still find it hard to believe and consider him a truly evil character at the end of the day.

3. Asta – Black Clover

Asta is a shounen character that’s all about dark; from his dark hair, dark magic power all the way to his powerful sword from which a demon resides in, and all of these traits don’t make him a villain one bit.

Unleashing the sword causes Asta to appear darker and create shadow on his arms along with horns and black wings. Despite that, he is a good man at heart who dedicates his life for other people.

4. Ichigo Kurosaki – Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki is a Shinigami (god of death in Japanese) whose roles are to ensure the safety of the souls who are to depart from the material world to the afterlife and to purify Hollow creatures which disturb the human world.

Shinigami people generally wear black attires, carry their transformable weapons and appear in accordance with their respective roles. While not every Shinigami is entirely good or heroic, Ichigo Kurosaki is a totally different breed.

Despite using the power he unleashes in black color, Ichigo is a very kind and heroic character just like many other good people in Bleach who also wear all-black attires.

On the other hand, Bleach also has the Arrancar people, antagonists who wear all-white attires and utilize bright powers that are generally used for good people.

5. Elias Ainsworth – The Ancient Magus Bride

Elias Ainsworth is a giant with a cow skull head who wears an all-black attire, commonly considered as a bad monster who loves intimidating humans. Despite his intimidating appearance, he is a good person at heart who changed his way of life after a tragic past that happened to him.

Elias is a good creature who continues to protect the people with his terrifying magic, making him a very solid partner and a very fearsome protector!
