In some anime you’ve ever watched all these times, perhaps you’ve found one or two characters who share the same looks. Are they brothers from another universe or was it just a coincidence? Here are 10 anime characters who share the same looks!

1. Sieghart and Jellal Fernandes

Sieghart is a character in the anime Rave Master, while Jellal Fernandes is a character in Fairy Tail. They both have a similar hairstyle and facial features. They even share a similar facial tattoo. 

What makes them look so eerily alike? Perhaps it’s because they’re both created by the same artist, Mashima Hiro. They also have another similarity, as they both serve to help the main protagonists as the stories progress.

2. Shanks and Gildarts Clive

Previously, the writer has discussed the reasons for the similarities between Shanks and Gildarts Clive. Unlike Sieghart and Jellal who are the characters in Mashima Hiro’s manga, Shanks is a character of the widely popular anime One Piece, by Eiichiro Oda. Their face and red hair are strikingly similar.

Actually, Mashima once worked as Oda’s assistant, the One Piece creator’s style of drawing turned out to be quite influential to him, hence the creation of Gildarts. While Shanks is one of the Yonkou, Gildarts is the strongest mage in Fairy Tail.

3. Kageyama and Nara Shikamaru

Kageyama of Fairy Tail also has some resemblance to Nara Shikamaru from Naruto. Aside from the earrings, they both also have tied ponytail. What distinguishes him from Nara is that Kageyama is not a major character in Fairy Tail like Shikamaru is in Naruto. Kageyama only appears at early parts in the story and never have been brought back into the story again. Apparently Mashima has the tendency of creating characters that are somewhat similar to other animes!

4. Saitama and Hanzo

The invincible bald hero, Saitama, also bears a resemblance to the bald ninja in Hunter x Hunter, Hanzo. Saitama might be the strongest character from all of the anime right now since he can beat anyone with just one single punch. 

Whereas Hanzo became the character that Gonn fought in the final test of the Hunter Exam. Just take a look at Saitama’s eyes when he’s serious, he looks just like Hanzo, doesn’t he?

5. Kazuma Kuwabara and Hanamichi Sakuragi

Kuwabara is one of the main characters in the anime Yu Yu Hakusho, while Hanamichi Sakuragi is the main protagonist in Slam Dunk. Aside from having almost similar facial features, they share the same hairstyle and hair color. 

Both of these Yankee hairstyled characters also have a brash, reckless disposition, but they are persistent strong-willed fighters.
