2. Alchemist – Fullmetal Alchemist

Alchemy can be used to make weapons and gold in Fullmetal Alchemist. This ability could even be used to repair something that was broken, but one thing that shouldn't be done was resurrecting the dead. This metaphysics is bound by the laws of the universe.

By creating something, then there will be sacrifices. In theory, one could resurrect the dead, but they had to pay a price. Many do this and it works. But basically, the scale of success of this ability is so small that it is considered something forbidden.

3. Dragon Ball – Dragon Ball Franchise

Fighters in Dragon Ball face many deadly opponents, so it's inevitable that a character will die at some point. Usually, this means an emotionally hurtful moment for both the main character and the audience, but the effect becomes debatable when Shenron's power comes from the dragon ball.

The main character summons Shenron by collecting seven dragon balls and doing this several times throughout the series. Once they had Shenron, all they had to do was hope their dead friend could be brought back to life.

4. Tenseiga – Inuyasha

Inuyasha's Tessaiga sword became a weapon that was hated by Sesshomaru as its owner because of its ability to bring human souls back from the dead. Due to his hatred for humans, the true power of the sword is sealed and cannot be used until he is ready.

He has no desire to help humans in any way until he meets a small child who makes him compassionate. At this point Tenseiga's powers are unleashed. The resurrection ability was only used once.

5. Buah Iblis Brook – One Piece

In One Piece, supernatural foods known as Devil Fruits are spread across the globe, each giving consumers unique superpowers. One of them is called the Yomi Yomi No Mi, which brings a person's soul back from the dead after their first death, with some minor limitations on life.

The Straw Hats saw this Devil Fruit in action with Brook's character, a walking and talking skeleton. Brook died and was revived in his skeletal form, but returning to a normal, flesh-filled life is possible if he finds his body.
