Mage is a Class in Mobile Legends in which heroes are able to dish out massive burst damage, and tend to have highly disruptive CCs. Of the many Mages available, some are considerably weaker and kicked out of the META in January 2021.

So, who are the weakest Mages in Mobile Legends this month? Without further ado, let’s get into it!

1. Odette

Let’s start the list with Odette, a Mage with great AoE and high damage. However, it takes 5 seconds for Odette to get the best out of her Ultimate. During these 5 seconds, Odette will be unable to move but can still use Flicker.

Thus, enemies can dodge her Ultimate without any difficulty. Aside from that, Odette also has a rather useless Passive as it only increases her basic attacks.

Nevertheless, Odette’s ability can still be amplified if paired with certain heroes, like Johnson who can take her with him and stun targets, followed by Odette’s Ultimate to inflict maximum damage.

2. Lylia

Next up is Lylia, a Mage who can be so elusive when she has her Ultimate available. She is also a pretty difficult hero to grasp. If the player can’t use her properly, she can easily be a useless Mage. 

Apart from that, Lylia also needs to set up so that she can get the best out of her Shadow Energy (2). If the opponent is out of her Gloom distance, they won’t be that affected by Lylia’s damage.

3. Vexana

Vexana is a Mage with disruptive skills as she can annoy enemies using Charmed Specter (1). She can also curse her target, making a puppet of the target if they die while the curse is still active, which will inflict a good amount of damage to nearby enemies.

However, Vexana is considered a weak hero as her skills are hard to land and can be dodged easily by the opponents, making it harder for her to compete in the current META.

4. Gord

Next, we have Gord, a Mage with great AoE. Although he can stun enemies for 1 second and dish out massive damage (as his Passive grants him bonus true damage), Gord is still outmatched by the other Mages.

Gord’s other weaknesses are his readable skills and easy-to-dodge Ultimate.

5. Aurora

Aurora is a Mage with a disruptive CC as she can freeze targets for 1.5 seconds. However, she has to cast skills 4 times to get the required stacks. So, she has to maintain the stacks to be able to freeze her targets.
