Tips & Trick | 07 April
Sometimes, experiencing a lag mid-game can really turn your mood in Mobile Legends. There’s nothing much you can do when it occurs and it leads to you lose the game. However, there are some settings tips that you can use in Mobile Legends to reduce lag.
Without further ado, check out these tips!
1. Lower the Graphics Quality
One of the possible reasons why you experience a lag in Mobile Legends is that your smartphone can’t handle running the game at high graphics settings. Therefore, if your game starts to lag, it’d be better to change the graphics settings to the lowest -- Smooth.
To make it run smoother, you can also disable other graphics settings such as HD Mode, Outline, and Shadows. Then, you can also activate the FPS Optimization feature to increase the frame rate during team fights.
2. Turn On the HFR Mode
If you feel like the performance is still not optimized, you can activate the HFR Mode in the graphics settings section. By activating the HFR Mode, the game will run smoothly at 60 frames per second.
However, not every smartphone has this option, and some even heat up quickly with the HFR Mode turned on.
3. Close Other Apps Running in the Background
Sometimes, the problem isn’t the settings you have in Mobile Legends. There are other factors that may contribute to lag, such as background apps, which consume your RAM.
Before running Mobile Legends, make sure to have other apps running in the background closed. If you have many other apps running in the background while playing Mobile Legends, your smartphone won’t be able to run all of the apps, which leads to you experiencing lag in Mobile Legends.
Usually, social media apps or other games will hinder the performance of your smartphone. So, it’s highly advised to close all other apps before you play Mobile Legends.
