Bandai Namco announced Bleach: Rebirth of Souls at Anime Expo 2024 yesterday. The game developed by Tamsoft will be released on March 21, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Several characters were introduced in the trailer above, including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Ishida Uryu, Inoue Orihime, Yasutora Sado, Renji Abarai, and others. One of the newest characters revealed by Bandai Namco for this game is the captain of the 5th division of the Gotei 13, Shinji Hirako. Here's the trailer video!

The story begins with Shinji explaining who he is, while flashbacks explain his conflict with Sosuke Aizen. We can also see him as a Shinigami and Visored. Meanwhile, in the current anime, Shinji has returned to being the captain of the fifth division.

In this game, the Shinji shown is when he was the leader of the Visored. In other words, we will see him using the Hollowfication ability.
