Denki Kaminarimon is a shinobi from Konoha with chunin rank, and the heir to the Kaminarimon company. Denki managed to become a chunin by defeating Tsubaki thanks to his sophisticated tools. Denki is a member of Team 5. Denki's name means "electricity". His last name, Kaminarimon literally means "Gate of Lightning", was most likely inspired by one of the two gates located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan.

Denki Kaminarimon is based on Denki Raimon, a fan-made original character who won the original character contest Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter #3 Borukura. This character was created by Aoyagi Yuta from Gunma Prefecture. His final design for the anime has changed a lot, and the reading of his last name was changed from "Raimon" to "Kaminarimon". 4. Has a Small Chakra Pool

Denki Kaminarimon seems to be proficient in using sealing techniques but he is unable to use them effectively due to his small chakra pool. With such skills, Denki is able to better facilitate long-distance communication systems. His talent was also recognized by Dr. Katasuke Tono, who often allows Denki to use his laboratory for his invention.

Denki’s talent helps him to design combat tools that greatly increase his physical strength, along with a special sensor system that can analyze and anticipate enemy attacks.
