4. They Severed Each Others Arms

Despite his horrific crimes, Naruto thought there was still some good in his old friend. Even Sakura gave up, willing to end her life to stop Sasuke's torrent of terror. In the end, Naruto was right. Sasuke ditched his revenge plan after all he had done and returned to Konoha. Finally Sasuke can return thanks to the persistence of Naruto.

6. They Become Close Friends 

Before Orochimaru took Sasuke away from Konoha, Naruto and the heir to the Uchiha clan built a strong and competitive friendship as a form of rivalry between them. When he left, Naruto already thought of Sasuke as a brother. That bond was the only reason Sasuke didn't kill him when Naruto tried to stop him from joining Orochimaru's Oto Village.

Years later, when the two men returned to Konoha and became good shinobi again, their friendship only blossomed. By the time they had children, they were best friends. They even share the duties of Hokage, both doing their respective jobs to protect Konoha Village. Although they are still very different people, their passion and tenacity unites them.
