1. The Meaning of His Name is Quite Chilling

When Orochimaru created his son, he named him after the word Mitsuki. The meaning behind the name Mitsuki is the combination of the words snake (Mi) with ship (Tsuki). One thing that is quite scary is, Orochimaru named his son to mark him as a ship or body replacement vessel that allows Orochimaru to use since Mitsuki was born. However, Mitsuki himself changed the meaning of his name to another Tsuki word which means moon.

Mitsuki in one of its episodes once looked at Orochimaru and wondered what to call him: mother or father? After all, Orochimaru was once a woman as well as a man, depending on which body he was in. Finally, after some self-discovery, Mitsuki realized it wasn't a problem and decided to call Orochimaru his parent.

With Orochimaru's dark past and strange duality, it's surprising to see Mitsuki and Orochimaru able to respect each other. Although Orochimaru has many complex identities and a terrible past, his son is quite open-minded in his family relationships.

3. Skilled at Tricking His Opponent

With Mitsuki's personality looking sweet and naive, it's a bit surprising when we see how good Mitsuki is at tricking his opponents. Of course anyone related to Orochimaru will have the skills to deceive his enemies as well.

4. A Ruthless Ninja

For all of Mitsuki's good deeds in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations while being a member of Team 7, being friends with Boruto doesn't erase Mitsuki's past with Orochimaru. Mitsuki is trained to not only defeat his opponents, but destroy them as well. In some of his battles as a genin, Mitsuki acts too ruthlessly and uses too much of his power or causes too much damage.

Even though Mitsuki tries to be a good person and ninja, Mitsuki still has a talent for cruelty that other genin don't have. No one in Konoha wants to face this scary kid, except for Boruto who really wants to fight him in the Chunin exams. Although Mitsuki's personality is very gentle, he always takes every battle he faces seriously. Maybe even too serious.

5. Mitsuki Very Loyal to His Teammates

Throughout the Naruto series, Team 7 tends to choose loyalty to its team over loyalty to Konoha. Naruto chose to save and forgive Sasuke rather than killing him. Even though it's not that serious, Boruto, Mitsuki, and even Sarada are also the same as the successors of Team 7. If in a desperate situation, they prefer to disobey their superior's orders in order to help or save their teammates.
