The Misfit of Demon King Academy or Maou Gakuin has been anticipated by many anime fans who want to watch it on Netflix. This anime is scheduled to start airing on Netflix in early September 2021.

Having 13 episodes, this anime tells the story of a demon king named Anos who sacrificed his life for peace. 1. Anos Voldigoad

Anos Voldigoad is the first and strongest Demon Lord, and is the main protagonist of Maou Gakuin. Anos is the Demon King of Tyranny from 2,000 years ago that reincarnated. He is firm, strong, and invincible.

His absolute power instills a true self-confidence that only his ego surpasses. Due to his extraordinary prowess, Anos has relaxed demeanor and is unrivaled when faced with any challenge that may come his way.

Despite his title as Demon Lord, Anos has a commendable nature and cares for others. He paid great attention to the well-being of not only his family, but also his subordinates and followers, and quickly rewarded them for their loyalty.

He is willing to work hard to help them reach their full potential. Others may see it as cruel, but he won’t kill people for nothing. Even Anos was very protective of his subordinates and followers.

Although Anos is not inherently evil, his chaotic and sometimes cruel methods when dealing with his enemies earned him his title. Although he had never originally proclaimed himself a Demon Lord, he openly accepted it because the whole world viewed him that way.

Those who opposed him feared his power and were threatened by the fact that Anos is a single man possessing such monstrous powers. The legend about his gaze instill fear in the people who appeared before him was also not just a figment. Staring into his demon eyes alone is enough to make people go insane.

2. Misha Necron

Misha Necron is in the family line of Ivis Necron, one of the Demon Emperor's Seven Elders. She's Sasha's twin sister, but for some reason, she's treated as a half-blood. She is one of the main female leads of Maou Gakuin along with her sister, Sasha.

Misha is a quiet and obedient kuudere character. She is Anos' classmate and first friend from his reincarnated life.

Misha really cares about her twin sister, Sasha. Even though Sasha behaves like she hates Misha and treats her badly, Misha knows it's just an act and she really loves her. She was supposed to disappear on his 15th birthday, but she was saved by Anos.

3. Sasha Necron

Sasha Necron is Misha's twin sister and the sixteenth generation heir of the Necron family. Known as the Witch of Destruction, her Demon Eyes of Destruction has the ability to make anything in the universe self-destruct. She is one of the main female leads of  Maou Gakuin along with her sister, Misha.

Sasha is a little aggressive and confident. Even though she acts badly towards her twin sister, she actually loves her very much and does it for a reason. In dangerous situations, Sasha is always ready to sacrifice her life to protect Misha.

4. Emilia Ludowell

Emilia Ludowell is a pure-blood noble and Anos’ homeroom teacher. But after trying to harm Anos' mother, she turned into a mixed-blood demon that she hated.

As a teacher, she acts calm and restrained. She was very fond of pure-blood students and saw mixed-blood students as mere knowledge thieves from the pure-blood race. She also had no qualms about injuring or even killing mixed races if they caused her any trouble.

She values her pureblood heritage highly and cannot accept anything less, as shown when she immediately attempted suicide after Anos was reincarnated as a half-demon.

5. Lay Glanzudlii

Lay Glanzudlii is a member of the Generation of Chaos, commonly known as "The Demon Sword Saint" and a transfer student at Demon King Academy. Lay is the reincarnation of Hero Kanon.

Lay is a transfer student with a dignified personality, even though he is called "The Demon Sword Saint". He can wield almost any weapon he calls a sword.

6. Misa Ilioroagu

Misa Ilioroagu is Anos' classmate who wears a white uniform and always smiles and takes her school life seriously.

Misa is a happy and lucky girl who sees everything with a positive attitude. She is an individual who doesn’t give up easily. Though that personality trait suddenly changes when she's in her Avos dilheavia form. When her personality changes, Misa becomes arrogant, selfish, and doesn't care about others.
