6 Missing-nin with the Worst Reputation in Naruto

In Naruto, often see the missing-nins are criminals that will do all sorts of things to add to their bad reputation and they are famous for that. Despite their reputation, these missing-nins adds value to the show and many love them.

1. Kisame Hoshigaki
Before he joined Akatsuki, Kisame was a loyal shinobi. He didn’t hesitate to jump headfirst to any impossible missions and protect the villagers. But things changed when he found out about Fuguki’s true nature.
Kisame then killed Fuguki and stole the Samehada. Since then Kisame ran from Kirigakure and became a missing-nin. Besides stealing Samehada, Kisame was involved in other criminal activities such as massacre.
2. Obito Uchiha
We can dispute the fact that Obito Uchiha is a famous missing-nin in the series. He is the key figure behind every big tragedy that happened. Obito was responsible for the death of Minato and Kushina, and the one that started the Fourth Shinobi War. Obito also killed 7 out of 9 existing Jinchuuriki.
3. Orochimaru
Since the start of the series, Orochimaru was a well-known missing-nin. Despite his title as a Legendary Sannin, Orochimaru’s selfish nature caused a lot of trouble for Konohagakure. As a missing-nin, he is responsible for a lot of death because of the experiment that he is doing. He also killed the Third Hokage when he tried to attack Konoha.
4. Kakuzu
Before joining Akatsuki, Kakuzu was a well-known missing-nin from Takigakure. Kakuzu was a talented shinobi. When he was still an active shinobi of Takigakure, Kakuzu was ordered to fight Hashirama Senju by the elder. But he lost to the First Hokage. After his initial lost, he returned to Takigakure and killed all the village’s elders to take a forbidden scroll.
5. Kinkaku and Ginkaku
The missing-nin duo or usually called the Gold and Silver Brothers were a shinobi from Kumogakure and the descendant of Rikudo Sennin. They are the duo that was ordered to capture Kyuubi but they ultimately failed. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were swollen by Kyuubi and only manage to escape after eating the flesh of Kyuubi. With their new power, Kinkaku and Ginkaku killed Tobirama and the Second Hokage.
6. Hidan
Like most member of Akatsuki, Hidan was a talented ninja that often took on S-ranked missions. After following the teachings of Lord Jashin, Hidan turned into a killer by killing all of the villagers before the escaped Yugakure. Because according to Jashinism, killing is allowed.
