Asta is yet to find a way to use magic, but that doesn’t mean that Asta is randomly swinging his sword in a fight. When Asta first fought against Eye of Midnight Sun, he learns a new technique from Black Bull’s captain, Yami Sukehiro.

This technique is based on the sixth sense, which allows Asta to feel the presence of those living nearby him. Thanks to this technique, Asta can react and attack faster than regular humans. This also makes Asta a dangerous opponent in a close-range battle.

2. The Demon in Asta's Body

This is not the first time we see something similar, for example, the Kyubi sealed in Naruto’s body. If the Kyubi once takes over Naruto’s body, a similar thing will not happen to Asta. Upon sensing another presence in his body, Asta refuses to give the Demon the total control and instead controls the power.

Asta’s first sword can erase any active magic. Asta is the only individual that can wield the sword since he doesn’t have an ounce of mana in his body. It’s because the sword absorbs the wielder’s mana.

Besides erasing magic, Asta’s third sword can undo a curse in a person’s body. For example, the Magic Knights possessed by an elf.
