Here are some facts about St. Charloss, the Tenryuubito who once made us mad in One Piece!
Anime & Manga | 24 July
St. Charloss is one of the Tenryuubito, the world nobles who have a higher degree than ordinary people. Just like other Tenryuubito members, he is also protected by the World Government. In this article, Dunia Games wants to talk about some facts about this Tenryuubito. Take a look at the article below!
1. Space Suit
Just like the other Tenryuubito members, there is a certain reason why St. Charloss always wears clothes like astronauts. First, this outfit indicates that he is a Tenryuubito. He also wears a chain around his neck for unknown purposes.
Then the bowl on his head has a function to give him oxygen to breathe. Why doesn't he want to breathe without using the device? This is because the Tenryuubito feels themselves to have a higher degree than ordinary people so they don't want to breathe using the oxygen that ordinary people also breathe.
2. A Spoiled Kid
You also need to know that St. Charloss is a very spoiled child. Whatever he wants must be fulfilled. If not, of course, he will go mad. This is seen when he walks with his father on the streets of Sabaody. At that time, St. Charloss asks a slave (a human) to be his plaything.
His father immediately gives him a slave for fun. He can get whatever he wants. This reminds us of one of Luffy's opponents at the beginning of the story, Helmeppo. Helmeppo is the son of the powerful Marine Captain Morgan. In the end, he joined the Navy and became independent.
3. Cruel
Because they feel they have a higher degree than other people, the Tenryuubito have sadistic traits towards ordinary humans, and St. Charloss is no exception. Surprisingly, the father of St. Charloss felt proud of his son with his sadistic nature. Charloss often makes his slaves suffer in various ways.
His older sister is even more sadistic than him. If he feels tired of the slaves he bought, he will shoot them unconscious. After that, he will sell his slave to another Tenryuubito so that they will suffer more. Charloss and his sister can do such things because they feel like a "god” who can do anything.
4. Wealthy
As a World Noble, the Tenryuubito has a lot of wealth, including Charloss himself. When St. Charloss went to the auction house in Sabaody, he easily threw away 500 million Belly to buy Camie as a slave. Charloss's offer surprised other participants.
This wealth comes from countries allied with the World Government. The payment that the World Government demands from each country is certainly massive so that the Tenryuubito can have such great wealth. Countries that don't pay tribute are likely to be destroyed by the World Government.

5. Weak and Stupid
Charloss can only command others because of his position as a Tenryuubito. Yet he is a very weak and stupid person. With just one punch from Luffy, he immediately fainted. Likewise when he famously got hit by St. Mjosgard at Levely.
Charloss's stupidity was seen when he shot Zoro in the streets of Sabaody. At that time, Zoro was saved by Bonney who pretended to cry and gave Zoro tomato sauce to make it look like blood. Zoro also understood the point and played dead. Charloss did not see that his shot was missed and believed that Zoro was dead.
6. Once Had 13 Wifes
This trivia is not mentioned in the anime so maybe you don't know about it. At the age of 24 years old, Charloss already has 13 wives. But for some reason, he divorced 5 of them, making him only have 8 wives.
A little information too, at One Piece Premier Show 2010, Disco once tried to sell Boa Hancock and Sharlia to Charloss. After 4 years of enslavement, Hancock was rescued by Fisher Tiger and escaped, and became a queen on Amazon Lily. During those 4 years, Hancock was forced to eat the Mero Mero no Mi fruit.
7. The Most Hated Character in One Piece
Many of the villains in One Piece may be quite annoying but unlike St. Charloss. Because of his unforgivable nature, the reader and audience are so furious with him and desperately want Charloss to be punished. Their wish came true after Luffy hit him in the face so hard that he bounced quite far.
Readers were also satisfied again after Charloss was hit so hard by St. Mjosgard with a club. Charloss is unlucky compared to the other Tenryuubito.
So those are some facts about St. Charloss in One Piece, one of the most hated characters in the series. If you find this article interesting, share it with your friends.
