Christmas is around the corner, and so are the Christmas-themed movies that usually aired on TV. There may be new movies shown on TV to celebrate Christmas every year, but there are also some movies that seem to keep showing from year to year. Here are some movies that are always aired on TV during the Christmas holidays!

1. Baby's Day Out

Baby's Day Out is a popular film that tells about a baby's escape from three kidnappers. This 1994 movie tells the story of 3 kidnappers who are not smart enough to kidnap a baby.

The story revolves around the baby escaping and outsmarting them by accidental means and venture alone into the city. Uniquely, there is always something that saves the baby from kidnappers.

2. Polar Express

This movie tells the story of a child who does not believe in Santa Claus, a figure who always comes to deliver gifts to kind-hearted children on Christmas Eve. One day, he is picked up by a train named The Polar Express which also contains children like himself.

The train goes straight to the north pole where Santa Claus lives with the dwarves. An exciting adventure begins with two new friends on the way to the North Pole.

3. Jingle All the Way

The movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. It tells the story of a father who forgets to give his son a present until Christmas Eve. The role played by Arnold in this film is very different from that of the Terminator franchise.

In this comedy film, Arnold must fight to get a toy that is low in stock. He even fought postmen and mothers to get the toy that his son so desired.

4. Elf

This comedy film tells about Buddy, an elf who realizes that he is a human. He realizes this after he found a fact that he was adopted by an elf father. The story begins when he decides to look for his real father in New York.

5. Home Alone

Who doesn't know this movie? This 1990 movie tells about Kevin (Macaulay Culkin), a son of a wealthy family whose family left him behind at home on vacation to Paris for the Christmas holidays.

When he is left behind and alone in the house, Kevin has to face two burglars who are targeting the family’s treasures in the house. The funny thing is, these two burglars are so dumb that they keep getting caught in Kevin's traps.

6. Beethoven

This family comedy movie tells the story of a family who loves a dog named Beethoven. The family loves him very much except the father. A local veterinarian, Varnick has an evil plan by targeting Beethoven to be used as an experimental subject.

7. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

This movie is adapted from a novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. It tells the story of a boy named Charlie who wins a tour ticket to the world’s biggest chocolate factory owned by Willy Wonka.

Along with the other four lucky children, they enter the chocolate factory and discover various unique events that don't make sense. This film stars Johnny Depp, who is known among action and fantasy fans as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
