7 Things in PES 2021 That Don’t Exist in FIFA 21
Although it’s not an “entirely new” game, PES 2021 has an edge over FIFA 21 by having these things in the game.

In the middle of each year, football fans will get involved in the great debate of deciding which one is the better football video game that year, whether it’s Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) or FIFA. Unfortunately, this year, that debate will be completely different since Konami has decided not to release an entirely new PES 2021.
In contrast, EA will release FIFA 21 for two different generations of consoles. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that FIFA 21 will dominate PES 2021 in every aspect of the game, because, as it turns out, this game still has some elements that FIFA doesn’t have.
Here are some of the things in PES 2021 that don’t exist in FIFA 21
Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich)
Allianz Arena is the home ground of the German club, Bayern Munich, and also one of the most iconic football stadiums in Europe. Alas, you won’t be able to feel the atmosphere of this stadium in FIFA 21, because this stadium is exclusively featured in PES 2021.
Nou Camp
Similar to the previous point, Nou Camp is one of the most popular stadiums in the world. The home of Barcelona F.C will also not be available in FIFA 21 since Barcelona already has a partnership with Konami to exclusively feature this stadium for PES 2021.
David Beckham
In the FIFA series, the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) game mode has always been the most favorite mode for players. in this game mode, you’ll be able to create a team comprising of legendary players as well as active footballers. But unfortunately, you won’t find David Beckham in this game.
It’s because of the exclusive partnership between Beckham and Konami which has been ongoing since 2017. With this collaboration, Konami was able to create certain game modes that follow the historical moments of Beckham’s career in PES 2021.
Marco Van Basten
The legendary Dutch player, Marco Van Basten, has also been confirmed not to make an appearance in FIFA 21. But not like Beckham who has an exclusive agreement, EA has removed Van Basten from the game due to the controversial commentary made by Van Basten that is deemed to be anti-semitic. Whereas the former AC Milan player will still be in PES 2021.
Juventus
Last year, football fans were made perplexed by the exclusive partnership between Juventus and Konami. This partnership not only banned FIFA 21 from having Juventus stadium in the game, but also the logo and even the name Juventus. This has forced FIFA to altered the club’s name into Piemonte Calcio. This year, it still the same case as the previous, with Juventus’ name, logo, and stadium exclusively featured in PES 2021.
AS Roma
After Juventus, this year, Konami has also secured an exclusive partnership with another Serie-A club, AS Roma. With this partnership, the club’s name, logo, and stadium are PES 2021’s exclusives. While in FIFA 21, the name of this club will be altered to Roma FC, with a different logo and kits.
Euro 2021
Last year, Konami has secured a partnership with UEFA to include the Euro 2020 exclusively in PES 2020. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament had to be postponed and rescheduled to take place in 2021. Luckily, Konami makes sure that the Euro 2021 will still be included in PES 2021.
