1. Hange Zoe (Attack on Titan)

2. Haruka Tenoh (Sailor Moon)

4. Seishirou Tsugumi (Nisekoi)
When she firstly appeared in Nisekoi, many people thought that Seishirou as a male. It’s because this female who is mistaken as a male often wears a Japanese school blazer and pants. Not only that, but her job as a contract killer also makes her look more like a man.
Her caretaker since she was a little, Claude, mistook her as a boy. That’s why he grew up and taught like a boy. Because of this, the first person who sees Seishirou will think that she is a male. Funny enough, after knowing that Seishirou is a girl, Claude still addresses her as a male.
5. Yuu Kashima (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun)
With her tall figure and short hair, people often mistook Yuu as a male. The girl with high charisma and distinct persona makes her a “prince” and dreamed by every girl at her school. Even though she has a boyish figure, Yuu still shows her feminine side.

6. Makoto Kikuchi (iDOLM@STER)
Even though Makoto is a female, but she is described as a “prince” in iDOLM@STER. Since she was a little, she grew up like a boy by her father. This makes Makoto prefers to be a masculine, male idol instead of being a cute, female idol.
In the idol world, Makoto is known as a bishounen (beautiful boy). Makoto has a rather unique fantasy, where she wanted to be visited by a prince charming that will be her soulmate, even though she’s the one who played as the prince in the story. Makoto once beat Yakuza members and save a girl from sexual harassment.
7. Naoto Shirogane (Persona 4: The Animation)
Since she was a little, Naoto has an obsession to be a detective. She reads detective novels and creates high-tech gadgets that are usually worn by detectives to solve cases. Sadly, Naoto realizes that her dream job not for a female like her. That’s why Naoto dresses as a boy to become one.
When going undercover and meeting law enforcement, Naoto looks so masculine that shows by the way she dressed. No flaws are showing that Naoto is a girl. Due to her appearance, Naoto is called “Prince Detective”. Even so, Naoto is often shadowed by the reality that she is a female by birth. That’s why throughout the story, Naoto wants to return to her old self.

For Hange, it was actually confirmed by Hajime Isayama that he wanted their gender to be ambiguous, even that the manga best showed their neutral gender, but that fans should decide what they want about Hange's gender.
