Hashirama Senju is considered the strongest ninja in the world of Naruto; to the point where the cells from his body are believed to be powerful thanks to the Wood release Kekkei Genkai. And for that, a lot of evil ninjas tried to use the Hashirama cell.

In most cases, the individuals that use the Hashirama cells are those who want it for themselves, not for helping others -- even to the point where they are willing to put others down.

Who are they? See the full list below!

1. Madara Uchiha

The First Hokage’s rival uses the Hashirama cells to extend his life longer than any human in the world with the help of Gedo Mazo.

He “accidentally” provided Zetsu a medium to appear by making the White Zetsu clones from combining the Hashirama cells with Gedo Mazo.

2. Obito Uchiha

As we all know, Obito almost died when he is crushed by a boulder trying to save Kakashi during the Third  Ninja War. He was saved by Madari although he is mortally wounded.

His body is healed and grow stronger because Madara injected the Hashirama cell to his body. Unfortunately, Obito uses his new power to launch his evil plan.

3. Orochimaru

He is a Sannin who dedicates his life to find and create the most powerful jutsu, so it’s not surprising to see Orochimaru take advantage of the Hashirama cell -- known as the main “recipe” for the Wood release Kekkei Genkai. Orochimaru then injected the Hashirama cell to the 60 kids he kidnapped.

Yamato that can use Wood release was born from his experiment. When Orochimaru escaped Konoha, Danzo then take Yamato under his wing.

4. Danzo Shimura

Besides making Yamato a member of Andu Root, Danzo also use the Hashirama cells for his own gain.

He planted 10 Sharingan in his right arm and strengthen his arm with Hashirama cell to the point where he can use the eyes (for Izanagi or Kotoamatsukami) continuously without consuming too much mana.

5. White Zetsu

White Zetsu was born from the experiment Madara did using the Hashirama cell. Madara then tasked White Zetsu to guide Obito executing his plan to awaken Tsukuyomi.

Utilizing the Hashirama cell, the White Zetsu gets to merge with trees as his means for teleportation. He can use the Wood release to multiply. It’s difficult to detect the White Zetsu clones with dojutsu like Byakugan.

6. Tanuki Shigaraki

Danzo’s henchmen introduced in Boruto episode 13. A scientist of Root, he is tasked by Danzo to create weapons using the Hashirama cells. From there Tanuki creates the Gozu Tennou seal --  a seal to grant Nue chakra and for the user to summon the monster.

Nue doesn’t function only as a monster that can level a town easily, it’s also a time bomb when it consumes enough mana.

7. Victor

Victor is one of the members of Kara. he dreamed of inventing a medicine than can repair internal organs and extend the life of a human. 

In the anime, Hashirama cells become the key to the medicine he dreamed of, he even willingly sacrificed a lot of humans for that.

That’s the list of 7 individuals who take advantage of the Hashirama cells for personal gains. They used the cells to reach their goal by any means necessary -  even sacrificing others.
