In the world of One Piece, several wars were big enough to be remembered as historical events! Are you curious about the wars? Here is the list of 7 major wars in the world of One Piece known to date!

1. The God Valley Incident

The God Valley Incident was a legendary battle that took place on God Valley Island which currently has been wiped from the world map and known only to a few people. This battle involved the Rocks Pirates, the strongest pirate group in the world at that time, against Roger and the Marines led by Garp.

At that time, Roger and Garp allied to fight under Tenryuubito. In the end, Roger and Garp managed to win the massive big battle and bring down the Rocks, and disbanding the group. After this war, Garp earned the nickname "Marine Hero"!

2. The Edd War

This battle involved two well-known pirate groups 27 years ago, one was led by Shiki the Golden Lion, and the other one was led by Gol D. Roger the Pirate King! The feud between the two pirate parties took place in an ocean called the Edd War so that their battle was recorded in history as the “Sea Battle of Edd War".

From the number of ships, Roger's fleed looked not superior enough, but somehow the storm hit the Edd War ocean at that time, drowned most of Shiki's fleet, and knocked the two parties out of the sea. At first, Sengoku and Garp were about to leave to stop the battle, but a sudden storm had already intervened between Shiki and Roger.

3. The Battle of Marineford

This particular battle is certainly very familiar to those of you who follow the whole One Piece story because Ace and Shirohige were the casualties of this war! The battle that took place in Marineford involved the Marines and assisted by the Shichibukai against the fleet of one of the Yonkou, namely Shirohige and his allies assisted by Luffy's party and the Impel Down prisoners who escaped from the facility.

This war was triggered by the planned execution of Portgas D.Ace, announced by the Marines Navy on behalf of the World Government, forcing Shirohige to move. After Shirohige and Ace were killed, the war stopped thanks to the arrival of Shanks who didn't want to have any more casualties!

4. The Revenge War

Still related to the Battle of Marineford, this revenge war also involved Shirohige's group, who at that time, had just lost their captain. This war was triggered by the revenge of former Shirohige members led by Marco because Blackbeard was the mastermind behind all major events at Marineford.

Apart from being Shirohige’s killer, Blackbeard was also the one who captured Ace and handed him over to the World Government, triggering Ace's execution at Marineford. But unfortunately, the former member of the Shirohige Pirate lost so badly, and making Blackbeard the new Yonko replacing the deceased Shirohige whom he killed!

5. The Rocky Port Incident

During the time skip, there was a big incident known as the "Rocky Port Incident". Not much was told by Oda regarding this incident, but it’s known that Law and Koby were important figures in the incident.

Trafalgar Law played a role as the mastermind behind the Rocky Port Incident until the incident raised his reputation. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Koby is known to protect the people involved in the incident until he’s known as a hero!

6. The Conquest of 4 North Blue Nations

Around 300 years ago, the Germa Kingdom had ruled all of North Blue and became the center of the Germa Empire. However, after 66 days the Germa Kingdom was conquered and no longer controlled North Blue. Before Sanji and his siblings were born, Vinsmoke Judge tried to repeat Germa's heyday and managed to bring down four nations in North Blue.

The details of the battle that was won by Vinsmoke Judge are not known, but the photo of the Judge taking down the four kings of the country he dropped is seen as a decoration in the Germa Kingdom Castle!

7. The Battle of Onigashima

Even though it hasn't started yet, it's almost certain that the massive war at Onigashima will happen in a moment! This battle will at least involve the Luffy’s faction and Wano Samurais, added with their allies who are in Wano at that time against the alliance of Kaido and Big Mom, the two Yonkou with the biggest bounty at the moment!

Will there be other parties involved in this war? The answer is possible! Especially considering that the Marines have already smelled a war that will occur in Wano! Not to mention Kaido's plan to declare war on the World Government with Big Mom. It could be possible that the Onigashima war will spread outside Wano!
