Dunia Games Cheat Episode 120 was broadcast last Wednesday, this time, a special segment from Dunia Games which often presents various special guests related to games, esports, and other pop culture, on Wednesday 31 January presented the figure of Shannon Wong, a popular influencer who has also been the brand ambassador of Evos Esports and Aoshi Market.
Her success is not only in the world of esports, but also as a content creator, but now, Shannon has decided to continue her studies in Australia. During the DG Cheat episode 120, Shannon Wong shares stories of her excitement as a content creator and former brand ambassador.
As a former brand ambassador for a popular esports team, Shannon gave her opinion on whether a career as a brand ambassador could be a long-term career. "In my opinion, for a permanent career in entertainment alone (as a whole) it might not be possible like that, so, being a BA alone is at most a contract that can't be permanent, but it can be used as a stepping stone," said Shannon.
Shannon also shared how difficult it is to become a brand ambassador, especially since she has to continue to be the 'face' of the brand they hold. "The strategy is to really 'set a good image' so that if for example, we do something wrong, the audience (followers) could misunderstand."
She also continued, "The benefit is like 'gain exposure', so it's like being better known in the world of esports." Shannon also feels that she is now more known thanks to her career as a brand ambassador at Evos Esports.
Even though her career as a brand ambassador has now finished, Shannon also stated that she was interested in continuing her career in the entertainment world when asked by host Edel. "The world of entertainment might be long term, I'm interested (to join) but it depends on which part (of the entertainment sector)."
Shannon also continued, "Actually, I'm interested in many parts, for example, acting, that's interesting, but I'm just not talented, so it's like that..." said Shannon in the interview.
Currently, Shannon Wong is continuing her education in Australia majoring in Entertainment Business Management, and is expected to graduate next year. You can look forward to further news regarding Shannon Wong's future career in the entertainment world if he finally decides to continue his career in this field.
