1. New Map: Nusa

Available in the PUBG Mobile Update Version 2.2 starting September 15 at 9:00 WIB, Nusa is a new tourist island map measuring 1×1 km located in the tropics to provide a fast combat tempo. With abundant supplies, players can jump right into the battle as soon as they land and get Chicken Dinner easily!

Nusa comes with beautiful scenery and interesting gameplay to play. This island will soon become your favorite hotspot to show off to friends. This place is worth visiting and exploring!

2. New Mechanisms, Weapons, and Vehicles

• Special Recall: Special Recall: If you are defeated in the first 4 minutes of battle but still have a teammate defending, you can still respawn once and return to the battlefield quickly while carrying a random weapon. (Super Summons are activated automatically when playing solo, no teammates needed)
• Zipline: Many ziplines are built at specific locations in Nusa. Just approach the zipline to use it and move around quickly. It should be noted that ziplines are very fragile and easily damaged!

So, use it very carefully. The new Tactical Crossbow can be used to fix the zipline. So, make sure to take it with you for peace of mind.

• Lift: An elevator has been installed at the hotel in Telepak Town. Use it to move the floor of this building. Elevators not only help save energy, they can also be used to tactically ambush enemies with teammates.
• Crossbow Taktis: Tactical Crossbows can fire ropes to repair ziplines or use fire arrows to burn certain buildings.
• NS2000 Shotgun: A weapon that shoots accurately at medium and close ranges. This gun fires 12 gauge rounds when firing without aiming and 12 gauge slugs when aiming with binoculars.
• Quad: A light and agile vehicle for 2 passengers that can be used to traverse bumpy terrain quickly while maintaining excellent stability and not tipping over easily. This vehicle is suitable to drive to explore Nusa with friends while crossing dangerous terrain quickly.

3. Erangel Major Update

Erangel is a favorite game map for many PUBG Mobile players. In the PUBG Mobile Update Version 2.2, map and building updates have been introduced on this map to improve your combat experience in Ranked and Non-Rated Mode.

4. Themed Mode: Gear Front

The PUBG Mobile Version 2.2 update introduces a new game mode, Gear Front, which will be available from September 29 to November 14, 2022 on the Nusa (Ranked), Erangel (Ranked), and Livik (Ranked) maps. 8 skills await in this new mode to give players a unique gameplay.

• Playzone analysis: Tap a skill to display the next Playzone location on the mini map.
• Vehicle AirDrop: Tap a skill and cast a flare to summon a vehicle air drop.
• Supply Scan: Tap a skill to scan nearby advanced supplies for 15 seconds.
• Gliding Doll: Tap plunge while in the air to summon a doll and glide for increased mobility.
• Black Market: Tap, hold, and drag to summon shops in a battle for quick purchases.
• Tracking Tracks: Enemies that are shot will be tagged for some time and they can be seen even behind walls.
• Lucky Backpack: Converts items in the backpack into other items. This skill also increases the load of the backpack.
• Healing Smoke: Use this skill to cast a special medicine that triggers smoke to restore HP and Energy.
• Strange Town: A European-style themed area will be available exclusively on the Erangel (Ranked) map. Enter Strange Town to enjoy the beauty of a European-style medieval town, as well as to admire the moonlight and stars in the night sky.

5. Weapon Balancing

4 weapons get a balance in this Version 2.2, namely:

1. AUG

• Increases base damage, rate of fire, and load speed.
• Reduce the spread of hip fire.

2. Mk14

• Slightly reduced rate of fire. Increases bullet speed.
• Reduced weapon damage drop.
• Slightly reduces recoil.
• Added rate of fire compensation for Mk14.
• The Mk14 will now have a similar rate of fire when firing fully automatic with the Mk14 on clients with different frame rates.

3. SKS

• Slightly reduces the recoil duration of single shots, so crosshairs return quickly.
• Increase the recoil recovery speed, so that the crosshair is closer to the shot direction after returning, increasing the predictability of the crosshair's return position.
• Reduces screen shake when shooting with the binoculars.
• Increases basic damage from 53 to 55.
• Increases shot damage multiplier on torso from 1 to 1.05.

4. Mini14

• Slightly reduces the horizontal recoil multiplier to minimize the chance of moving.
• Reduces overall recoil growth when shooting continuously.
• Increases basic damage from 46 to 49.
• Increases torso shot damage multiplier from 1 to 1.05.

6. New Season: Cycle 3 Season 8

The new Season Ranked Mode, Cycle 3 Season 8 (C3S8), will be available from 20 September - 18 November 2022. Get New Legendary prizes in the form of C3S8 Glasses, C3S8 Suits, C3S8 Parachutes, C3S8 - SKS, C3S8 Masks, and C3S8 Bandanas.

In this new season, there is the addition of sub-tiers to Ace and above. Every 100 points is a mini tier and players can collect stars and add titles to Ace Master and above. In addition, the presentation of Tier Badges has been improved and the Badge page has been redesigned.
