Hijume has shown significant performance. It’s safe to say he’s returned to the exceptional form he displayed in Season 11 when he was with EVOS and made it to the grand finals that year.

So far, in four matches of MPL ID Season 15, Alter Ego has recorded three wins and one loss.

Their only loss came in the opening match against Bigetron Esports. The rest were victories against ONIC, NaVi, and EVOS.

In a live TikTok video, Natco was with his partner when a viewer asked for his opinion on Hijume.

Without hesitation, Natco declared Hijume the best mid laner right now, even surpassing some big names often considered the best mid laners in the past year or two.

"Hijume is the strongest mid laner this season, guys. Above Super Frince and Sanz. He’s really good. Hijume plays drop heroes like Yve and Pharsa exceptionally well," said Natco.

"Every drop he makes is painful and seems to always hit," he explained.

Besides his still-excellent skills, Hijume clearly has a strong desire to achieve success.

After succeeding in Season 11 with EVOS, then being sidelined and moving to Dewa, and even not playing for a while, he has learned many lessons.

With Alter Ego, it feels like he’s found players who share the same mission. It’s exciting to see how Alter Ego’s journey will continue. If they maintain consistent performance, Hijume truly deserves the title of the best mid laner.
