EA has announced that FIFA 22 will use a technology called Hypermotion. This technology will provide the most realistic and immersive soccer game experience. FIFA 22's Hypermotion technology can be enjoyed on next-gen consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

However, there are some FIFA fans who don’t support this advanced feature, especially FIFA fans who play the PC version. As is known, the HyperMotion feature definitely requires high PC specifications. So EA decided to stick with the old-gen version, aka not getting the latest features. EA as the developer has revealed the reason why the newest feature is not available on PC.

Citing PCGamer, EA said that the main reason was their fear that the PC specifications needed to play FIFA 22 would be higher. This will probably stop "some" gamers who want to play on PC. Therefore, they prefer to eliminate it all together rather than having to increase the minimum specifications in order to add the HyperMotion feature in the game.

Through HyperMotion, FIFA 22 offers animation and gameplay that is more realistic because it uses a machine learning approach, resulting in real time animation. As a result, this technology makes it possible to capture the movements of players who have high speed like Kylian Mbappe.

FIFA 22 also still brings modes that appear in FIFA 21 such as Career Mode, VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs, to FIFA Ultimate Team.

FIFA 22 will be released on 1 October 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, as well as PC and Stadia. Meanwhile, FIFA 22 Legacy Edition will also be released for Nintendo Switch on the same date.
