Alter Ego got another positive result as they cruise over Geek Fam in an entertaining 2-0 win. Geek Fam’s plays got Alter Ego overwhelmed from time to time with their high tempo. However, Ahmad and co. were able to overcome it with their well-coordinated rotations and Udil as the core of the team.

In the post-match interview with the media, Ahmad stated that Geek Fam’s performance in the MPL ID Season 7 so far has been impressive. He even said that the current Geek Fam team is very reminiscent of the old Alter Ego.

"Frankly, Geek Fam is a strong team, you could say that they are like the old Alter Ego. So, yes they still have flaws. They’re pretty much like us, but we’re still a step ahead of them," said Ahmad.

Ahmad also rated Geek Fam 8/10 from their performance, with the 2 points being the difference between them and Alter Ego.

"I give them an eight. Why eight? Because Geek Fam is quite reminiscent of us, but the other 2 (points) being the difference between us (Alter Ego) and them," he added.

As for their chances of qualifying for the playoffs, Ahmad believes that Geek Fam will be able to make it if they’re able to overcome their shortcomings in the regular season.

"So far, (I believe) they (Geek Fam) can if they’re able to improve their game and overcome their shortcomings. I’m sure. They’re good," he concluded.

With this victory, Alter Ego is currently top of the standings with two wins. Next week, they will face Genflix Aerowolf with their ‘secret weapon’, Kido.
