Finally, PES 2020 Lite Can Be Downloaded on Steam
No need for pirated versions, with PES 2020 Lite, you can play PES 2020 legally, and (more importantly) for free!
News | 12 December
After a week-long wait, finally, Konami releases the free PES 2020. Through the official Twitter account @OfficialPES on Tuesday (12/12), Konami announced the free version of PES 2020 can now be downloaded via Steam.
On Steam, PES 2020 Lite can be found on the full-version eFootball PES 2020 page. Although it’s just a lighter version, this game has the same minimum requirements as the PES 2020 full-version. To play this game, you also have to download a 32GB file.
Here are the minimum specs to run PES 2020 Lite:
OS: Windows 7 SP1/8.1/10 - 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 / AMD FX 4350
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 / AMD Radeon HD 7870
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 40 GB available space
Additional Notes: Resolution 1280 x 720
While here are the recommended specs to run PES 2020 Lite:
OS: Windows 10 - 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX 8350
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 760 / AMD Radeon R9 270X
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 40 GB available space
Additional Notes: Resolution 1920 x 1080
As the name implies, this game removes some features and game modes from the full version of PES 2020. Also, in PES 2020 Lite, you’re only allowed to play a limited number of teams. Here are the details regarding the modes and clubs on PES 2020:
Offline Mode:
- Local Match
- Co-op Match
- Training Mode
- Edit Mode (PS4 and PC only)
Clubs:
- FC Barcelona
- Manchester United
- FC Bayern
- Juventus
- Arsenal
- Palmeiras
- Flamengo
- São Paulo
- Corinthians
- Vasco da Gama
- Boca Juniors
- River Plate
- Colo-Colo
Stadiums:
- Allianz Arena (FC Bayern Munchen)
- Allianz Parque (Palmeiras)
- Neu Sonne Arena
Online Mode:
- myClub
- Matchday
- eFootball
- eFootball Practice
Although there are a number of features and clubs that have been removed, PES 2020 Lite is far from the word “unattractive” since Konami brings a pleasant surprise by adding some online modes in this game. You even have the chance to use all the clubs available in the full-version when playing an online mode in PES 2020 Lite. Moreover, you can also buy a DLC of a team of your choice separately at a far lower price than buying the full version.
This step seems to be taken by Konami to expand further the PES 2020 online players community that has been considered to be far behind the rival’s, FIFA 20. It’s planned that Konami will also announce PES 2020 Lite for PS4, but up until now, there has been no official announcement when the PES 2020 Lite will be available for Sony’s console.
