The Reason EVOS Keep Losing: Age Has Finally Spoken
The problem of EVOS finally revealed by Age.

The reason behind EVOS’s continued slump has finally been revealed. EVOS had started MPL ID Season 15 in impressive fashion. In the first five weeks, the White Tigers had secured a 4-1 record and even climbed to second place in the standings.
The solid performance of Albert and Kyy as a new jungler-roamer duo had brought a fresh spark to EVOS’s gameplay.
However, their performance graph has dipped sharply after entering the mid-season. EVOS have now dropped to seventh place with a 5-6 record. That means they have only won one of their last six matches — a result far below fans' and the community’s expectations.
Ironically, these five losses have not come because of superior opponents, but rather because EVOS have beaten themselves. Rotational errors, poor drafts, and reckless decisions have consistently been the root of their defeats. Many fans have echoed the same sentiment: EVOS have not been defeated — they have defeated themselves.
Age Revealed Why EVOS Keep Losing
The growing public frustration has finally been addressed by their former coach, Steven “Age.” During a TikTok livestream, Age has shared his honest analysis about EVOS’s recent struggles and directly highlighted their inconsistent draft picks.
“In my opinion, when EVOS play two or three games, there’s always one game where the draft hasn’t been good. It hasn’t been consistently solid,” Age said.
He has also suggested that the main issue may not lie with the players alone, but possibly with the coaching staff. EVOS are currently coached by two key figures behind the scenes: Aville and Caleb — and neither has escaped criticism.
“I don’t know if it’s the coaches or the players, but for a team aiming to reach the international stage, you just can’t draft like that,” he added.
According to Age, Caleb — who has long been part of the Mobile Legends scene — should have been able to guide Aville, who only recently transitioned from Dota. At the MPL level, especially for a team as prestigious as EVOS, there is no room for trial and error. Every loss has had a heavy price.
“Aville came from Dota 2, but Caleb has been around for a while in the MPL. He should’ve helped out. There’s no excuse for bad drafts when you’ve been in the scene that long,” he emphasized.
With players like Albert, Kyy, Branz, Natco, Erlann, and Regi, EVOS have actually had the capacity to compete at the top. But all of that talent would be meaningless if the fundamental elements — like draft and communication — haven't been fixed immediately.
Time has been running out for EVOS to turn things around. If they wish to qualify for the playoffs and salvage their season, change must begin now. Otherwise, the White Tigers may end up watching the MPL ID S15 finals from home.
