Light has officially left Bigetron Esports after his journey in MPL ID Season 15 came to an end. The Filipino roamer spent only one season with the Red Robot squad, yet he managed to make a significant contribution in helping Bigetron build a more disciplined and objective-oriented playstyle.

Light has left Bigetron amidst public attention, as many viewed his arrival as part of a major rebuild project to bring Bigetron back to the top tier of the MPL ID scene. He joined alongside several new faces and played a vital role in the team's transition phase. Unfortunately, the season did not end as hoped, and Light ultimately decided to return to his home country.

Light did not leave Bigetron due to poor performance or internal issues. In fact, throughout the season, he appeared to mesh well with his teammates. However, emotional challenges and homesickness became the main reasons behind his departure from the MLBB Indonesia scene.

Light’s departure also highlighted the common struggles foreign players face when competing abroad. Adapting to a new culture, language, and social environment is no easy task. While many players possess strong mechanical skills, not all can withstand the emotional pressures that come from living away from home.

Why Light Left Bigetron

In his official farewell statement, Light revealed that homesickness had been the primary factor. “Thank you for all the support. I’ve decided to leave BTR because I’m homesick and I miss playing in the Philippines where I can speak in Tagalog. I also miss my girlfriend,” he expressed sincerely in his message to fans.

He also took time to thank his teammates and coach who had put their trust in him throughout the season. “There were many challenges here, both positive and negative. But everything has been a good experience for me. To Moreno, Nea, Luke, and especially Emann—thank you for believing in me.” He continued, “Thanks also to Ko Ed. And to the BTR fans—thank you and sorry that we couldn’t achieve the result we all wanted.”

The decision certainly disappointed many fans, especially those who hoped Light would stay longer and further strengthen his chemistry with the squad. On the other hand, his choice reflects emotional maturity and the importance of maintaining mental health and personal comfort as a professional athlete.

In the end, Light has left Bigetron with grace and gratitude. He arrived as a foreign import but departed as part of the BTR family. Now, the community awaits his next chapter in the MLBB Philippines scene, where he may very well return stronger than ever.
