Suddenly Jinshi appeared and was shocked, Maomao almost fell from above but was immediately caught by Jinshi. The pair had a casual conversation as usual and deduced the details regarding the Lakan incident. The episode closes with the wound on Maomao's leg opening again, so Jinshi has to carry her back to the room. A sweet ending and an interesting narrative to end the first season of The Apothecary Diaries.

2. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Episode 28 is the culmination of the end of the first season of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. After following Fern who passed, Denken, Ubel, Land, Wirbel, and Methode also graduated to become First Class Mage in this exam.
