This week's special Fishman Island episode of One Piece has started airing, taking the place of the main series, which is on hiatus until April 2025. As previously announced by Toei Animation, this episode revisits the Fishman Island arc with upgraded animation, following the recent style changes introduced in the Wano arc.

In the original episode, viewers may not have seen animations as epic as they are now. One standout moment in this special episode is the debut of Luffy's Haoshoku Haki after the time skip. In this scene, Luffy confronts Demaro, who is in pursuit of Nami and Usopp.

Angered, Demaro attempts to shoot Luffy. However, with his Kenbunshoku Haki, Luffy easily dodges and counters with his Haoshoku Haki. Too weak to withstand it, Demaro and the other fake Straw Hat members instantly collapse, falling unconscious. Compare this Haoshoku Haki animation with that of the original episode, and you'll notice a significant difference.
