Since the Covid-19 pandemic, a number of studios have started to work on shows for the public. Starting from big-screen films to television series. One of the series that is currently trending is the superhero animated series Invincible, which airs exclusively on the Amazon Prime service.

Yup, this series is trending because it presents an interesting story. Where the series tells about family problems and problems of young people. But the storyline is also covered with scenes that are very brutal and sadistic. Until finally, all the characters in the animated series Invincible didn’t hesitate to commit violence and this was shown openly since the beginning of the episode.

So because the content is quite violent, Amazon suggested viewers who suffer from epilepsy and those who are not strong enough to see violence and blood to not to watch this series. Young children are also advised not to watch Invincible without parental supervision.

This animated series tells the story of Jack, a samurai who has the ability to travel through time and time. Where he is said to be on a journey to return to his time and defeat a tyrannical demon named I. This animated series premiered on August 10 2001, and ended on 25 October 2004.

3. Rick And Morty (2013)

Rick and Morty is a very popular sci-fi cartoon. The animated series that premiered in 2013 tells the story of the dangerous adventures of Rick and Morty who travels the universe through parallel worlds, the cosmos and others. Rick himself is a mad scientist and drunkard, while Morty is his grandson who is weak when it comes to learning. This animated series is not suitable for children to watch because it contains content about elements of sarcasm, violence, sexuality and others.

4. The Awesomes (2013)

Next there is an animated series entitled The Awesomes which was broadcast via Hulu in 2013. Even though it is presented in an animated form, the content in it is actually very unfriendly to children. This animation actually presents adult comedy content that tells the story of a group of superheroes named Awesomes. Even though it comes with the concept of a superhero, the content presented actually contains sarcasm and sadistic scenes that are not suitable for children to watch.

5. Big Mouth (2017)

Big Mouth is one of the original Netflix animated series that features adult content. So this animation is not meant for children, but adolescents and adults. Big Mouth was first aired in 2017 and entered its fourth season in December 2020. Big Mouth animation presents adult comedy stories that are packed with sexuality-related content and some scenes are quite violent.

6. Castlevania (2017)

Next is Castlevania which is also broadcast via Netflix. This animation adapts the story from the game version, but packs in excellent animation. But once again this animation is not intended for young audiences, because the content contains scenes that are very violent. This animated story itself tells the story of Belmont and his friends to meet Alucard, Dracula's son who becomes a villain.

7. Final Space (2018)

Don't be fooled by the cute and colorful animation in Final Space. Because the animated series that airs through the TBS service offers content aimed at adult audiences. This animation tells about the adventures of an astronaut named Gary with his friend, Mooncake. Even though it looks interesting, in this animation there are some silly scenes and it is quite violent to watch.

8. Primal (2019)

Primal is one of the best animations to air in 2019. This animation by Genndy Tartakovsky presents a quite interesting story, where it tells the story of a caveman who lives together with a carnivorous dinosaur. They must work together to survive in prehistoric times. But what's interesting is, this animation is packed with scenes that are quite sadistic, such as when killing other monsters to survive.

Undone is a very unique animated series. Unlike other animations, Undone comes with an animation style like a watercolor paint. In addition, this animated series tells the story of a drama that is worth watching for teenagers and adults. But between the unique stories and animations, Undone also has some pretty scary and absurd scenes.

10. Harley Quinn (2019)

As the title suggests, this animated Harley Quinn series tells the story of the adventures of Harley Quinn who tries to get her revenge on her former lover, the Joker. But what's interesting about this animation is how DC packs it with fresh content, which is different from other DC animations. It can be seen through the trailer footage how Harley Quinn managed to slaughter all of the Joker's men in a very brutal and sadistic way.
