3. Uta No Prince-Sama

Uta No Prince-Sama is a popular otome franchise that started its debut in 2010 on the PlayStation Portable and won the Best Consumer Game award at the Dengeki Girl's Style Otome Game Award in 2011. It tells the story of Haruka Nanami, an aspiring composer who studies at the Saotome Academy's performing arts school. Nanami meets several potential romantic partners who are all vying to be the best pop idol. This anime-adaptation first released in 2011, with three seasons and one feature-length film.

4. Meiji Tokyo Renka

Unlike other games, Meiji Tokyo Renka was originally a 2013-released mobile game. It tells the story of Mei Ayazuki, who travels back in time. Mei lives together with historical male figures from that era. Despite losing her memory, Mei helps these historical figures with their respective problems and uses her ability to summon spiritual beings. In addition to the game's sequels, animated and live-action movies, as well as musical theater performances based on the game, a 12-episode anime-adaptation of the game was also released in 2019.
