Kimi No Todoke anime was first released in 2009 and adapted from the original manga series of the same name. The anime, which tells the love story between Sawako Kuronuma and Shota Kazehaya, recently announced the release of the third season, which will air in 2024.

Kimi ni Todoke Story

Kimi ni Todoke tells the story of a high school student named Sawako Kuronuma who is nicknamed 'Sadako' by her classmates because her appearance, which has long black hair and pale skin, is similar to the main character of the horror movie The Ring. 

This makes many of her friends afraid and reluctant to be friends with her, even though Sawako is a kind and gentle girl who wants to be friends with others. 

Her life begins to change when she meets Shota Kazehaya, a popular classmate with a lot of friends who is interested in her. The two spend a lot of time together and eventually fall in love.

Netflix recently announced the launch of English dubbed versions for the first two seasons of the anime Kimi ni Todoke, which is adapted from the manga titled Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You by Karuho Shiina.
