The One Piece YouTube channel recently revealed the cast and air date for the anime "Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation" through a new trailer on Sunday, January 14th 2023. The anime is an adaptation of the one shot manga titled "Monsters: Ippaku Sanjo Hiryu Jigoku" created by Eiichiro Oda.
The cast involved in this anime include:
- Yoshimasa Hosoya as Ryuma
- Kana Hanazawa as Flare
- Hiroki Tochi as Cyrano
- Mitsuaki Madono as D.R.
- Katsuhito Nomura as Master
Hosoya will be reprising his role from the previous voice drama adaptation. "Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation" will air on Netflix on January 22nd 2024.

"In a world where the only 'threat' that can disrupt peace is in the sky. The 'terror' that can cause catastrophic damage to this world, the Dragon. Adaptation of the legendary one shot manga by 19-year-old Eiichiro Oda, before the serialization of 'One Piece'. This is the story of Ryumas the samurai."
The anime's director, Sunghoo Park, who also directed Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is responsible for the directing and composition of the anime Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation. Park's new studio, E&H Production, is entrusted with animating this work. The anime will be one episode long.
The one shot manga Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation first appeared in Oda's Wanted! manga collection. Shueisha published Wanted! in Japan in 1998, while this one shot was first published in 1994 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. This manga introduced the character Ryuma, who later appeared in Oda's other manga, One Piece.
