Senku's Efforts to Restore the Human Civilization After the Great Calamity
Dr. Stone centers on Senku Ishigami, an 18-year-old genius high school student, who befriends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa. Their world ended in an instant when a mysterious flash engulfed the planet earth and turned all humans into stone statues. 3,700 years later, namely in 5738 AD, Senku, who was originally petrified for thousands of years, suddenly returned to being human and realized that human civilization was completely lost due to being eroded by time.
Senku also has a mission to save every human who was previously turned to stone and revive a lost civilization through the use of his knowledge. After Taiju woke up, the two of them re-awakened Yuzuriha. They were forced to wake up a famous martial artist named Tsukasa Shishio because they were trapped in the siege of a wild lion and needed a strong person to fight in order to survive.
Senku's Science Kingdom Restores Old Civilization Against Tsukasa's Empire Who Wants to Create a New World
Things turn out to be more complicated because Tsukasa doesn't want to restore the civilization of the previous world. He saw a world that was previously tainted by old people who always took advantage of the existence of young people. Instead, he wanted to create a new world based on the strengths of young people. Tsukasa instead wants to destroy all adults who are still petrified to eliminate the existence of old people from this earth.
With his new foe also gathering an army, Senku and his friends try to find a way to stop Tsukasa. Senku finally found the only human tribe left on earth. Almost all of those people were unaware of the previous world, and none of the tribesmen also understood the technology of the previous world.
Slowly but surely, Senku showed the tribe the benefits of his technology. Senku gathers creative people to join his Kingdom of Science to defeat Tsukasa’s Empire and save all of humanity.

Scientific-themed Anime that is Easy enough to Enjoy and Follow
Dr. Stone is one of the unique anime that even though there are a lot of complicated things going on, the presentation makes it quite easy to follow and understand. Basically, this anime revolves around a post-apocalyptic theme and how the aftermath of the catastrophe can affect its various characters. The concept of everyone in the world is turned to stone and the struggles of a few people coming back to life after thousands of years turned out to be a very original idea.
Throughout the anime, Senku develops so well that you can see the brilliant steps he takes, and believe that he acts according to his personality. The other characters are also well developed.
The plot of this anime flows very naturally so it often causes conflicts between the characters. Whenever a new character appears, the audience will be suspicious and wary because they don't know whether that character will be good or bad. The Dr Stone anime uses science that recreates much of the progress of civilization to achieve in the stone world, even if it actually took millions of years in the former world.
Although viewers of the Dr Stone anime initially thought that the technology choices would be limited to creations typical of ancient civilization, Senku and his friends really found clever and creative ways to recreate technology from our world. Inventions such as generators, drugs, even steel swords and gunpowder with improvised materials from the wild were very interesting to observe. Dr. Stone is clearly an anime that can enrich knowledge, especially from chemistry, for the audience. For those who are curious, you can also watch this anime series on Netflix.
