Pluto Anime Telling About Astro Boy Reveals 7 New Cast!

The official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of Naoki Urasawa's Pluto manga recently announced additional cast members for the anime.
The new cast includes (from left to right in image above):
- Hideyuki Tanaka as Brau-1589
- Romi Park as Helena
- Toshio Furukawa as Professor Ochanomizu
- Eizou Tsuda as Dr. Tenma
- Kazuhiro Yamaji as Professor Abulah
- Michio Hazama as Duncan
- Kenyuu Horiuchi as President Alexander
The anime will premiere on Netflix on October 26th and will have eight episodes, each of which is 60 minutes long.

In the Japanese version, the voice actors are Shinshu Fuji as Gesicht, Yoko Hikasa as Atom, Minori Suzuki as Uran, Hiroki Yasumoto as Mont Blanc, Koichi Yamadera as North No.2, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Brando, Rikiya Koyama as Hercules, and Mamoru Miyano as Epsilon, and Toshihiko Seki as Pluto.
The Pluto manga is a drama in the seinen genre that recreates the world depicted in Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga. The manga was published in Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine from 2003 to 2009, and has been translated and published in more than 20 countries.
The manga's story focuses on Europol's top detective, Gesicht, who investigates the mysterious murders of seven major robots in the world, including himself who is one of the targets.
Previously, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment had acquired the rights to make a live action and computer graphics (CG) hybrid movie based on the Pluto manga.
