The official website and account for the upcoming anime Senpai Is an Otokonoko, this time revealed the latest key visual and announced the premiere will be available on July 4, 2024. This romantic comedy anime also provides details regarding the series' theme song which will decorate the opening and ending of the anime. The following is the latest key visual from the upcoming anime series Senpai Is an Otokonoko.

The opening and ending theme songs for this anime will be performed by Kujira, also known as Whale Don't Sleep. He will perform the opening song entitled "Wagamama" and the ending song entitled "Are ga Koi datta no kana".

This anime will be serialized by Studio Project 9 with Shinsuke Yanagi as director. Yoriko Tomita is in charge of series composition and Shoto Shinkai is working on character designs. Meanwhile, Yukari Hashimoto composed the music. This anime has previously launched a trailer and features the main cast consisting of the following:

The anime series adaptation of Senpai Is an Otokonoko is based on the manga written and illustrated by Pom. This manga was published digitally through Line Manga from 2019 to 2021. Then it was published in print format by Ichijinsha and published in seven physical volumes, and the eighth volume was released on April 1, 2024 yesterday.

Tells the story of a high school student named Saki, who confesses her feelings for Makoto. However, she was surprised by Makoto who revealed her secret. But this sudden fact doesn't seem to bother Saki who is already crazy about him in the slightest. After being rejected, Saki asks Ryuji, Makoto's childhood friend, for advice on how to win his heart.
